Who: Food service professionals, school administrators, growers, producers, distributors and farm to school stakeholders
What: A day long workshop dedicated to exploring how to plan for, move, and integrate more local fruits and vegetables into New Jersey school meals. $10 per person
Where: Rutgers EcoComplex, 1200 Florence-Columbus Road, Bordentown, NJ
Why: Farm to school initiatives improve school feeting programs, promote locally grown foods, benefit local agricultural economies and connect school communities to our region's farmers.
