Growing a 21st Century Agricultural Revolution

— filed under:

This highly interactive event will focus on key issues—such as water, climate, energy, biodiversity, poverty—and key strategies—partnering in value chains, embedding performance metrics, incentives for better practices, and building infrastructure in farming communities. This international group of participants will work across traditional boundaries to develop priorities toward practical solutions that can be implemented at scale across different geographies, crops, and farm size.

The conference will:

• Highlight both technical and social innovations in all parts of different supply chains that achieve “on-the-ground” sustainability impacts

• Nurture alignment around a common set of goals for sustainable agriculture innovations—social, environmental, and economic—and share ways to measure and incentivize improvements

• “Explode” the “can’t be done” myth, by sharing ways that indeed “it can be done”

• Help you develop partnerships and strategies with “unlikely allies” who also have a stake in a more sustainable food and agricultural system

• Create a shared analysis of global risks and opportunities with priorities for action and the allocation of resources
