NGFN Database Profile Tips: Individual

The "description" field is one of the most important parts of your profile. You should use this field to introduce yourself to the Network, describe what you have to offer to this community, and what you you’re hoping to get out of it. You may also want to list any organization or association affiliations, or key words you'd like associated with your profile.

For example:
“I am a marketing and communications professional with experience in developing marketing campaigns for regional grocery chains that source locally. I am interested in helping farmers or buyers differentiate locally-grown or sourced products in the marketplace.”
