NGFN Database Profile Tips: Organization

This is the field other users can use to search for your profile. You should use this section to introduce your organization to the rest of the Network, describe what your organization has to offer this community, and what your organization hopes to gain from being a part of it. You may also want to include a brief mission statement or statement of purpose as part of your organization description.

For example:
“The Wallace Center supports entrepreneurs and communities as they build a new, 21st century food system that is healthier for people, for the environment, and the economy. The Center builds and strengthens links in the emerging chain of businesses and civic efforts focused on making good food—food that is healthy, green, fair, and affordable—an everyday reality in every community.

We do this by acting as 1) a convener 2) a knowledge creator 3) an aggregator of useful models and 4) a connector to opportunities for capacity building and financial resources.”
